Pros & Cons
- Internal rim width of 18 mm, which is 2 mm narrower than the E 1800. This makes for a lighter wheelset and a better fit with 23 and 25 mm tyres.
- 23 stands for the rim height, 32 is also available. 23 mm gives more comfort and is lighter, while 32 mm is stiffer and has better power transfer.
- The P 1800 wheels guarantee a tight spoke tension and can handle a maximum rider weight of 120 kg.
- These durable DT Swiss 370 hubs with 3 pawl body have a good seal against dirt and water.
- The rim height of 23 mm provides more comfort compared to the 32 mm high version.
- Because the rim is only 23 mm high, it provides little to no aerodynamic advantage at higher speeds.

Description
Description
The wheelset is built around a reliable DT Swiss 370 hub with an easy-to-maintain 3-pawl system. The wide 18mm rim is kept under tension by aerodynamically shaped DT Swiss Aero Comp Wide straight-pull spokes and self-locking DT Swiss ProLock Squorx ProHead spoke nipples. The DT Swiss P 1800 Spline 23 are tubeless ready and come with rim tape and tubeless valves.
Tubeless ready
These wheels feature a tubeless ready rim which allows for the use of tubeless tyres and latex. This setup minimises punctures. Should a puncture occur, the latex will fill the gap within seconds. Other advantages of riding tubeless are lower rolling resistance, more comfort and better grip. Of course, you can still use tyres with inner tubes.
Pro Lock Technology
Pro Lock is a process in which a patented 2-component adhesive fluid is injected into the nipple thread, which allows for extremely durable wheel constructions. When the nipple is turned onto the spoke the adhesive is activated and will begin to harden. Once it has fully hardened the wheel can still be adjusted, with only a minimal reduction in the locking function. As such, your wheels will be up to 20 times more durable, and spoke tension will remain accurate up to 20 times longer in comparison with wheels with no Pro Lock nipples.Pro Lock is a process whereby a patented 2-component adhesive liquid is injected into the nipple thread, allowing for extremely durable wheel constructions. By turning the nipple on the spoke, the adhesive is activated and begins to harden. The wheel can still be adjusted after the glue has fully hardened, with only a minimal loss of locking function. As a result, your wheels maintain much better spoke tension for longer. This extends the durability and correct spoke tension by up to 20 times compared to wheels without Pro Lock nipples.
Compatibility
• To be used with Shimano and/or Sram 9/10/11 speed groupsets.Delivery includes
• DT Swiss P 1800 Spline 23 wheelset• DT Swiss tubeless valves
• DT Swiss tubeless tape
• Valve core remover
• 10s spacer
Assembly
• Cassette remover Shimano or Campagnolo• (possibly a torque wrench)
Installing a cassette on a wheel is easy if you have the right tools. If you purchase a cassette remover with a Shimano fit, you will be able to mount either a Shimano or Sram cassette on your rear wheel. Please note! For a Campagnolo cassette you need the Campagnolo tool. If you have a Shimano 9/10-speed cassette, first slide the spacer over the body. Then you place the cassette on the body. This can only be done in one way because of the fit of the body. Finally you turn the washer straight on by hand and tighten it with the cassette tool. Cassettes aren’t easily overtightened, but if you want you can use a torque wrench for this.
User tips
• Pay attention to the direction of travel when mounting your tyres.• For Shimano 9/10-speed, do not forget to mount the spacer first before installing the cassette.
• Make sure the rim tape is stuck well in the rim.

Excellent compromise between weight and lightness, recommended
Lightweight, smooth-rolling wheels, mount easily. Aesthetically they are understated, nothing fancy, but if you don't care so much about appearances but care more about substance they are perfect like this. The price is great for the quality of the wheels. I was looking for inexpensive, lightweight aluminum wheels with a capacity limit in kg guaranteed by the manufacturer slightly higher than the average of the competition, as I am a sturdy person from just over 100kg, and these DT Swiss were the ideal choice, having a limit of 120kg including the weight of the bike, as opposed to many other brands that guarantee max 100/110kg. Other manufacturers guarantee lower capacities for the same price and weight of the wheel set. A great solution is the system that allows you to independently adjust the position of the "quick release" lever after tightening the wheels to the bike (between vigolette because it is more of a hybrid solution between QR and thru-bolt, since it has the shape of the QR but to tighten the wheel it just needs to be screwed in, just like the pins, without interlocking). Finally, if like me you love the music the freewheel makes, these rims are for you.

More than satisfied with the wheels and service
Thought can do that for that price but mounted once what a pleasure.

Good running wheel.
Wheel runs nice. There is no quick release on it, but you have to tighten the wheel. That goes well. Can be replaced with quick release, of course.
